Treatment Process
The patient's medical history and tests are collected online. The presence and status of cancer are evaluated through tests such as mammography, ultrasound, Breast Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography), blood tests and biopsy.

Once the diagnosis is confirmed, a treatment plan specific to the patient is created. At this stage, the scope of the surgical intervention and the necessary preparations are planned. The patient is given detailed information about the treatment process.

Before the surgery, the necessary laboratory tests are performed and anesthesia evaluation is performed. The patient is informed about the surgery process and what to watch out for afterward.

The cancerous tissue is completely removed. The cancerous tissue and, if necessary, nearby lymph nodes are removed by the surgeon. The surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia.

After the surgery, the patient is kept under observation in the hospital. The healing process is monitored and pain management is provided. Necessary precautions are taken to reduce the risk of infection. The patient is discharged after his/her condition stabilizes.

Regular follow-up appointments are scheduled after surgery. The patient's recovery process is evaluated and possible complications are checked. The risk of recurrence is monitored with blood tests and imaging tests.

Doç.Dr. Mutlu Ünver Kimdir?
Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nden 2006 yılında mezun oldum. Aynı yıl Ege Üniversitesi Hastanesi’nde araştırma görevlisi olarak göreve başladım ve onkolojik cerrahi ile organ nakli alanında uzmanlaştım. Kadavra ve canlı donörden karaciğer ile böbrek nakli üzerine ileri düzey eğitim aldım.
Avrupa Tiroid Kanserleri Kongresi’nde “En İyi 2. Sözlü Bildiri” ödülüne layık görüldüm; aynı çalışma Kanada’daki Dünya Tiroid Kanserleri Kongresi’nde de sunulmuştur. Ayrıca ABD’de düzenlenen Dünya Organ Nakli Kongresi’nde ülkemizi temsil ettim.
Ekip olarak, karaciğer ve böbrek nakillerindeki başarılı çalışmalarımızla iki kez “En İyi Kadavradan Organ Nakli Merkezi” ödülünü kazandık.
Bugüne kadar 250’nin üzerinde organ nakli, 2000’in üzerinde onkolojik cerrahi ve 500’den fazla obezite cerrahisi vakasında aktif olarak görev aldım.
